Newtown, CT, a rural community of nearly 28,000 inhabitants, is the perfect setting for horse and hiking enthusiasts. 60 miles from New York City, it is one of the largest towns in Connecticut with beautiful, country roads winding past horse farms and meandering through scenic, rolling hills.
