Stamford, CT, known as ‘The city that works”, is the second-most populous city in Fairfield County. Stamford offers many of the amenities that one would look for in a small city, including a vibrant nightlife, excellent restaurants, hiking trails, beaches & parks, a bustling economy, and much more. The Bartlett Arboretum and the Stamford Museum & Nature Center are popular destinations for residents in and around the Stamford area.  With New York City only 38 miles away, Stamford is a major hub for daily commuters in and around the Stamford area. Stamford is composed of a number of communities providing its own set of unique characteristics, whether it's living along the coast, in the city proper, around the rolling hills of North Stamford, or anything in-between, Stamford has something for everyone. Daily commuters to New York City have a plethora of trains running to and from New York City several times each hour, making it an easy daily commute.
